Tour + Limoncello Tasting (3 Hours)
At the designated time, we'll meet at Piazza Vanvitelli, in Vomero, where we'll begin this cultural immersion to discover Naples' contrasts. During the journey, we'll visit two iconic and totally different neighborhoods, Vomero and the Quartieri Spagnoli. Let's go!
Our first stop will be at Vomero Hill, an area that only began to be urbanized in the 17th century by the Neapolitan aristocracy. Still today, Vomero continues being one of the most elegant neighborhoods in Naples. You'll see this as you stroll along its streets and reach the stairs of Petraio, a small group of historic buildings that offer stunning views of the gulf. Perfect for a picture!
During the tour, we'll stop at a home in Petraio to take a break at a typical ground-floor space of the neighborhood, where we'll give you a 3.4 oz. (100 ml) jar with homemade limoncello. Children will be given a non-alcoholic beverage.
Afterward, we'll continue our tour until we reach the Quartieri Spagnoli, a popular area famous for its street art that decorates its streets. It'll be an explosion of colors! We'll walk through the neighborhood's streets and discover artisanal stores, Baroque churches, and small trattorias.
After an approximately 3-hour guided tour, we'll say our goodbye at the exit of the neighborhoods at Via Toledo.
Tour + Limoncello Workshop (3 Hours & 45 Minutes)
If you choose this option, we'll follow the same itinerary in the previously described tour. Then, at a typical ground-floor space in Petraio, you'll participate in a 45-minute workshop to learn how to make limoncello. We'll also offer you traditional products like taralli, olives, and other typical Neapolitan products. Children under 18 will receive a non-alcoholic beverage.
