After picking you up at your hotel in Nice at 9 am, we'll head inland to Grasse, a small town in Provence. Did you know that this small village in Provence inspired Patrick Süskind to write his novel Perfume?
Grasse has a long tradition in the world of perfume and a large number of museums and factories related to this art. As we visit the famous Fragonard factory, we'll talk about the importance of the perfumer's trade in this charming town.
Leaving Grasse behind, we'll make a stop in Gourdon, where you'll have the opportunity to visit its church and its old town full of stone houses. It'll feel like you're in a fairytale!
Next, we'll head to Tourettes-sur-Loup, a charming medieval village known for its artisan workshops and cobbled streets lined with flowers. Here, we'll take a guided tour to explore its historic centre and discover why it's known as the City of Violets, a symbol of local tradition that is still celebrated every spring.
During the day trip, you'll have free time in Gourdon or Tourettes-sur-Loup to sample the delicious local cuisine.
Finally, we'll enjoy a wine tasting at the world-famous Bellet vineyards, which boast one of the best appellations in France.
Our adventure will end back in Nice 8 hours later.
