Galician Mussels Boat Tour + Tasting

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the port of O Grove, where we'll board the boat and set sail along the Arosa estuary, the longest of the Galician coast. All aboard!

As we sail along the estuary, you'll see the importance of fishing, shellfishing, and aquaculture in Galicia and especially in the area of O Grove. You'll become enthralled with the Galician mussel raft culture as we pass through the mussel farms that dot the bay of Arosa.

After visiting the mussel, oyster, and scallop harvesting areas, it'll be time to do some tasting! On board the boat you'll taste steamed mussels from the estuary accompanied with water, wine, or soft drinks... you'll understand why mussels are the star product of O Grove!

During the return trip to the port, you'll have the opportunity to look through the glass bottom of the boat and admire the underwater world.

After 75 minutes of sailing along the estuary, we'll return to the port of O Grove, where we'll disembark and say our goodbyes.
