With this ticket to Osaka Castle, you'll have access to the towers, museum and viewpoints of this imposing historical site of Japanese culture.
Why Visit Osaka Castle?
Located in a beautiful public park in this vibrant port city, Osaka Castle holds an important history in the unification of Japan in the 16th century. Inside, you can walk through 8 floors and outside on 5 levels, offering magnificent panoramic views of the Osaka skyline.
Its 20th-century reconstruction was the last and is as accurate a reproduction of the castle keep as possible. The castle's history contains a series of events such as fires and conflicts between the clans of the time. One of the most interesting corners of the castle is the museum, located in the main keep. Here, you'll see exhibits chronicling the life and legacy of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the illustrious Sengoku period figure known for his achievements in the Civil War to unify the country.
There are also impressive life-size replicas of the tiger fish of Japanese culture, better known as shachihoko. On the 7th floor, you'll find a panoramic observation deck with 360-degree views of the city, giving you a complete view of the cityscape.
