As we drive across the fault, we'll discover the unique geography of this winding landscape, exploring the very backbone of the earth. We'll arrive at an oasis full of palm trees where water springs from an underground aquifer.
Here we'll learn how the Cahuilla tribe used the desert plants for food, medicine, shelter, tools, and weapons. Would you like to know how they lived in this inhospitable environment? Let's find out!
And what's more, we'll have the chance to walk among the stone corridors and granite walls of ancient canyons. During this experience, we'll tell you about the origins of the valley that was home to different settlements throughout the ages.
