On this tour from the south of Mallorca, we'll explore the Drach Caves, sail its underground lake, visit the beautiful coastal town of Porto Cristo and discover how Mallorcan pearls are made.
Drach Caves Day Trip
We'll pick you up at the designated time at a point close to your hotel in the south of Mallorca to head to the towns of Manacor and Porto Cristo, on the east coast of the island.
Our tour will kick off with our main event: a visit to the Drach Caves, some of the most spectacular and most visited in the world. We'll explore the inside, descending about 1,200 meters (3937 feet), all the while amazed by the impressive stalactites and stalagmites.
The tour explores the caves and descends to Lake Martel, one of the largest underground lakes on the planet. Here is where you can find the Moragues Dome, a kind of natural amphitheater with spectacular natural acoustics. We'll sit on a grandstand and enjoy a classical music performance staged on the lake. After the performance, you can take a gondola ride from one side of the lake to the other.
Here we'll board a small wooden boat, and while we bob enjoy a classical music recital. A magical experience in a unique environment!
After visiting the caves, we'll head to the Perlas Majórica pearl shop and museum. Here, you'll learn how these famous pearls are made. Did you know that they've been made here for over 100 years?
To round off our tour, we'll visit the nearby town of Porto Cristo. There you'll have 1 hour free to enjoy the famous Balearic gastronomy. Finally, 8 hours later, we'll arrive at the starting point in Mallorca.

The tour includes pickup from the pier of the Palma breakwater or a nearby point close to hotels located in the following tourist areas in the south of Mallorca: Palma, Arenal, Can Pastilla, Illetas, Portals, Cala Mayor, Palmanova, Magaluf, Santa Ponsa, Paguera, and Camp de Mar.
