At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point closest to your hotel in the south of Mallorca. From there, we'll head towards Porto Cristo, a charming fishing village in the east of the island, where the famous Hams caves are located.
On the way to the caves, we'll make a stop to visit a famous Majorican pearl factory, where we'll learn about the cultivation process of these famous Mallorcan artificialpearls, recognized for their high quality and beauty.
Afterward, we'll enter the impressive Hams caves. Did you know that their name, “hams”, means “hooks” in Mallorcan? They refer to the curious shape of its stalactites, unique in the world. These caves, formed millions of years ago, were discovered just over a century ago and are in an exceptional state of preservation.
During our visit, we'll walk through the galleries while marveling at the whimsical geological formations and the spectacular lighting that enhances their beauty. In addition, the Hams caves are home to a small underground lake, known as the Sea of Venice, which adds a magical touch to the experience.
After approximately 4.5 hours of hiking, we'll finish the activity by returning to your hotels in the south of Mallorca.
