Located in front of the Palma Cathedral, the Royal Palace of La Almudaina is one of the most representative historical monuments in Mallorca's capital.
With a ticket to La Aludaina, you'll have a chance to explore this majestic building. Though it's considered the Spanish royal family's official summer residence, the royal household spends the season in the Palace of Marivent in Palma. Nevertheless, La Almudaina is used by the monarchs for different events, such as the annual reception for the representatives of Balearic high society.
The palace began as an ancient Arab fortress, but afterwards, the Catholic monarchs transformed this basion of Palma into the Mallorcan monarchs' headquarters. As a result, one of the most spectacular rooms in La Almudania is the Gothic Hall, which was used to receive ambassadors.
You also cannot miss the Patio of Honour and the remains of the Arab baths, featuring hot, warm, and cold water rooms. La Almudaina also houses the Chapel of Santa Ana, ordered to be built by King Jaime II in the 14th century.

Last Entry: The ticket office and palace entrance close one hour before the official closing time.
Free Admission: Free entry is available on Wednesdays and Sundays from 3 pm to 6 pm (winter) or 3 pm to 7 pm (summer).
