Are you a nature enthusiast? We invite you to try this unique camping experience - hanging tents suspended over the Pica Oasis, a lush enclave located in the heart of the Chilean Atacama Desert.
Your camping adventure will start when you check in at 3 pm. From that moment on, you will be able to enjoy the camping facilities at your leisure until checkout the next day. The fascinating landscapes of the Pica oasis are sure to captivate you, a fertile terrain nestled in the middle of the beautiful Atacama Desert.
The most special part of this experience will be the tents. Have you ever tried sleeping suspended between trees? It's the best way to be completely immersed in nature in a comfortable way, you'll be surrounded by botanical species more than 200 years old. Here at the Pica Oasis, we hang the camping tents because of the ancient irrigation system that runs throughout the camp. The different farms throughout this area are irrigated by a series of watercourses coming from water tanks called cochas, which is what makes this place have such lush vegetation.
You'll have at your disposal spacious tents, sleeping bags, hammocks, tables, chairs, and other equipment to make your stay perfectly comfortable here at the campsite. We will also provide you with a grill where you can cook your own food.
The most magical part of the experience will come when night falls in the hanging campsite of the Pica oasis and you'll be able to see the blanket stars from the comfort of your tents.
The following day, after waking up and having breakfast on your own, you'll be able to take a dip in the natural pools. Checkout is at 12 pm.
