2-hour tour
We'll hop on our buggies and kick off our adventure along the dirt tracks of Guatiza. This charming village experienced a remarkable economic boom in the 19th century, thanks to its thriving production of the red cochineal. During the tour, you'll discover the fascinating uses of this remarkable insect!
As we continue our journey, we'll also have the opportunity to see Guatiza's quarries, revealing a different facet of the region's history. Our exploration of Northern Lanzarote will then lead us to the iconic Los Cocoteros salt mines, which have been in operation since 1940. And before we wrap up our tour, we'll make a stop in the village of Mala to admire the cacti, offering us a glimpse into the rich agricultural traditions of this part of Lanzarote.
After a thrilling 2-hour route, we'll bring our buggy tour to a close back at the meeting point.
3-hour tour
If you're looking for a more extensive adventure, we have the perfect option for you! Choose the 3-hour buggy tour, and not only will we cover the same route as the previous option, but we'll also take you to the magnificent Mala dam. Located in the Palomo Valley, this impressive structure offers stunning panoramic views of the Estanque ravine. Prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking scenery!
