On this day trip, we'll leave Porto Seguro behind to visit Trancoso, a town full of history and peculiarities. We'll take you on a stroll through the streets of the old town and admire its dreamy beaches.
Day Trip Details
After picking you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro at the indicated time, we'll travel south for about an hour and a half until we reach Trancoso.
Upon arrival, we'll reach different sandbanks around Troncoso, among which the beaches of Quadrado de Trancoso or the beach of Dos Cosqueiros stand out. Both are known for their beautiful natural landscapes.
Once there, you'll have approximately 5 hours of free time to enjoy the views and have lunch at one of the seaside restaurants we'll visit. Afterward, we'll head to the center of Trancoso.
Throughout approximately 1 hour, we'll go on a guided tour of the main sights of this town, whose history dates back to the 16th century when Pedro Álvares Cabral arrived in Brazil. During the tour, we'll discover what life was like for the Jesuits in the town and learn about its subsequent transformation in the 70s when it became a 'hippie town.'
We'll also explore the old neighborhood of Quadrado, the historic center of Trancoso, where we'll see the charming colonial fishermen's houses and the church of Quadrado.

Finally, we'll end the day trip by returning to your hotel after approximately 9 hours.
