On this day trip to the La Armonía Farm, we'll leave Posadas to take you to spend a day like a gaucho among the mountains of southern Misiones. Countryside lunch included!
After picking you up from your hotel in Posadas, we'll leave the city behind along the Ruta Nacional 105 highway for 18 miles (30 kilometers) until we reach the La Armonía Farm.
From here, the dirt trail will take us along 2.36 miles (3.8 kilometers) of changing scenery, where the plain will give way to the mountains of the plateau of Misiones. After this 1-hour drive, we'll reach the La Armonía restaurant, located on a terrace with scenic views of the Sierra de San José.
You'll sit at a table, and we'll serve you a three-course lunch. The star dish will undoubtedly be the lamb, raised on this very farm, which brings life to a menu with typical dishes of Misiones.
The starter will include empanadas and cured meats. Then, you'll have grilled meat, stuffed pasta, milanesas, stews with side dishes like sopa paraguaya, the traditional mbeyú, and grilled vegetables. Dessert will be a homemade dessert that varies depending on the season.
After lunch, you'll have the rest of the day free to explore the farm's facilities, breathe in pure countryside air, and take tons of pictures of the landscapes of this southern region.
Finally, we'll begin our journey back. After 7 hours, we'll say our goodbyes by dropping you off at your hotel in Posadas.
