Do you want to explore the highest peak in Spain? Travel upwards over 3500 meters on this Teide day Trip, which includes entry to the cable car and transportation from northern Tenerife.

Tour Description

We'll pick you up at the different meeting points in the north of Tenerife and drive to the Teide National Park. Spain's highest peak awaits us!

Once we arrive at the base of the volcano, we'll take the Teide cable car, which is 2356 meters high. We'll go up in the cabins and enjoy a quiet ride lasting about 10 minutes, contemplating landscapes of volcanic lava millions of years old.

We'll reach the summit at an altitude of more than 3,500 meters, and you'll have 1 hour of free time to explore this location at your own pace. From the Rambleta viewpoint, you'll be able to enjoy an incredible view of the Cañadas and if the day is clear, you'll be able to see some of the other islands of the Archipelago on the horizon. During your free time, you can have lunch and take the hiking trails around the volcano.

After 1 hour at the top, it'll be time to descend again. We'll take you by bus to the nearby Roques de García, which offers one of the most magical and popular views of Teide. From the stairs that run along these rock formations, we'll contemplate the Llano de Ucanca, a landscape that seems to be from Mars. You'll be amazed!

The activity will end by dropping you off at the initial pickup point after 7 hours of fun.

This excursion includes pickup from areas in the north of Tenerife and from Santa Cruz and Candelaria. During the booking process, you'll have to indicate one of the pickup points that we offer. During this process, you'll also be able to see the exact pickup time.

Additional Info

Please note that the following people can't go on the cable car: people with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women and people with reduced mobility. Please also note that there are entry restrictions to the Teide cable car for anyone not wearing sports or hiking footwear for safety reasons. Access is prohibited with sandals, footwear without back support, heeled shoes, or smooth-soled footwear.
