The Patagonian nature of the Chilean region of Los Lagos captivates visitors from the moment they arrive. On this day trip from Puerto Montt, we'll see the beauty of its landscapes & visit the hot springs of Termas del Sol.
Day Trip Details
At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Montt to embark on an unforgettable excursion through one of the most beautiful areas of the Chilean Lake District.
We'll start the tour heading to Ralún, a town located in the Reloncaví estuary right at the mouth of the Petrohué River. Here, we'll take a short scenic route to see the lush endemic forest of Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. The landscapes of this natural space, located in the foothills of the Andes, will captivate you from beginning to end.
The next stop will take place in the town of Cochamó, which is surrounded by the beautiful Valdivian rainforest. After admiring its panoramic landscapes, we'll go to Puelo to visit the Termas del Sol on the outskirts of this town, one of the main thalassotherapy centers in the Los Lagos region.
You'll have three hours of free time in this thermal center, which has a large set of outdoor pools built in stone. The water temperature varies between 36 and 45 degrees Celsius (96 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit), as its flow comes from a nearby thermal spring that reaches 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). After relaxing in the springs, you can recharge your batteries in the resort's restaurant.
Finally, from Termas del Sol we'll return to your hotel in Puerto Montt, where we'll arrive at 5:30 pm.
