On this bike tour of Quito, we'll pedal our way from the modernity of La Carolina Park to the colonial gems of the historic centre.
We'll meet at the indicated time at the Quicentro Shopping Centre to start this bike tour of Quito. Are you ready to cycle through the capital of Ecuador?
We'll start by cycling through the financial centre, framed by La Carolina Park and its contemporary architecture. Then, we'll enter the La Mariscal neighbourhood, with mansions from the 1920s and 1930s that still retain their elegance.
Our route will continue through iconic parks such as El Ejido, one of the city's main green spaces, and La Alameda, where nature blends with history. After a short break, we'll arrive at the beautiful historic centre of Quito. You'll be instantly captivated!
In this part of the tour, we'll admire the Basilica del Voto Nacional, one of the most impressive neo-Gothic temples in South America, and discover squares and churches while listening to Quito legends and curiosities about its most traditional streets. It will be like travelling back in time!
We'll pause to enjoy a tasting of fine aromatic chocolate at Yumbos Chocolate and a refreshing coffee lemonade at El Cafecito. A sweet and unique treat to recharge your batteries!
On the way back to the starting point, we'll cross the La Floresta neighbourhood, famous for its bohemian atmosphere and its viewpoints, which offer unique views of the city. You won't be able to resist taking out your camera!
Finally, after covering a total of 23 km (14.2 mi), we'll return to the meeting point and say goodbye after 4 to 6 hours of experience, depending on the pace of the group.
If you're travelling with children aged 3 or older, we offer you the option of bringing them in a child seat on the back of the bikes, provided they weigh less than 15 kg (33 lbs).
