If you're visiting Rijeka, you can't miss out on this tour to Krk, Croatia's golden island. Travel back in time and explore its ancient landmarks, such as the Frankopan Castle.
At 9 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Rijeka and drive for an hour to reach the Island of Krk, located at Kvarner bay. Let's explore Croatia's 'golden island'!
Once we get there, we'll hop off the minibus and start our guided tour around this gorgeous city. Kirk is home to very interesting and different landmarks, from the longest concrete bridge in the world to an old town filled with ancient buildings.
On this tour, we'll visit the Cathedral of the Assumption, the Church of St. Margaret, the Church of St. Quino, Frankopan Castle, and the square tower. We'll also learn about the history of this island and why Krk is considered by many as the cradle of Croatian culture.
Next, we'll admire Krk's incredible beaches and landscapes full of vineyards and olive trees. You'll have some free time to explore the area and take as many pictures as you want. Then, we'll meet up again to head back to Rijeka.
Lastly, we'll drop you off at your hotel around 3 pm.
