Inaugurated in 1911, Rome's Bioparco offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy wildlife in the heart of the Eternal City.
Based on a very different concept from that of a conventional zoo, this space is committed to the recovery of endangered species, environmental education, and scientific research on these animals.
Throughout your visit to the Bioparco of Rome, you'll be able to get to know and understand a truly unique natural complex. This zoo is home to 1,200 animals belonging to a total of 200 different species, including mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians from all over the world!
But that's not all... The Bioparco also has a rich botanical collection. At first, it was mainly composed of Mediterranean species and, little by little, it has been added to with hundreds of exotic plants. There's so much waiting to be explored!
Opening Times
The opening hours of the Rome Bioparco are as follows:
- October 3- March 25: Every day, from 9:30 am to 5 pm.
- March 26 - October 2: Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, from 9:30 am to 7 pm.
Final admission is 1 hour before the closing time.

This ticket is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

People with certified disabilities may enter the park for free with their designated assistant.
To obtain a ticket, you must go to the ticket office with your ID and the relevant disability certificate. You may enter without a prior reservation.
