5 Day Tour: The Best of Italy
Day 1: Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence
Leaving Rome early in the morning, we will head to Assisi, our first stop. In Assisi, you will have free time to explore the walled historic center at your leisure and, if you wish, visit the Basilica of Saint Francis, which houses authentic masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. You will also have time for lunch on your own.
With our energy restored, our next stop will be Siena, another beautiful medieval city famous for its cathedral and the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in the world and the venue for the Palio delle Contrade.
We'll continue our journey until we reach Florence, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Florence
Having eaten breakfast we'll begin with a guided tour of the historic centre of Florence, where we'll see the cathedral and the impressive Brunelleschi bell tower. In the same square we'll see the Giotto bell tower and the St. Johns Baptistry where the Gates of Paradise can be found.
The tour continues to the Piazza della Signoria, passing by the Uffizi Gallery and the monumental Palazzo Vecchio.
Then we'll head to the Piazza de Santa Croce, to eat in a typical Tuscan restaurant.
Then in the evening, you'll have free time to enjoy the city, or take an optional excursion to Pisa.
Day 3: Florence - Bologna - Venice

To end our visit to Bologna on a high note, we'll enjoy lunch at street food stalls, a delicious way to discover the city's most authentic flavors.
In the afternoon, we'll head to a hotel in Venice, where you can have dinner on your own and spend the night.

Here you can find the Bridge of Sighs, where Casanova was imprisoned. Afterward, you'll have included a cicchetti and a spritz, the delicious Venetian apértif.
With the guided tour over, you'll have the whole evening free to eat and pass through the island at your own pace. Careful with your credit cards, we know how attractive the shops of Venice can be!
