Day Trip Details
On the day of the tour, we’ll meet at the Manfredi Pier, and from this spot in the port of Salerno, we’ll travel west by bus. Are you ready to discover two of the most beautiful towns on the Amalfi Coast?
After a 1-hour-long drive, during which a tour guide will share interesting facts about the region, we’ll arrive in Amalfi, the pearl of the coast that bears its name. And it’s no wonder, since its scenery and the charm of its streets make this town a picture-perfect destination.
You’ll have about 2 hours of free time in Amalfi, where you’ll also enjoy a limoncello tasting at a traditional local spot. After the tasting, you can have lunch and explore the town’s historic center at your own pace. Its most notable landmark is the Cathedral of St. Andrew, whose Romanesque architecture will leave you speechless.
Amalfi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so we recommend strolling through the squares and narrow streets of its charming historic center. Additionally, those who wish can take a boat ride along the Amalfi Coast.
After your free time, we’ll meet up again to take a 20-minute drive to Ravello, a quiet village perched on a hill along the Amalfi Coast.
Once there, you’ll have about 1.5 hours of free time, which you can use to visit the viewpoint next to the cathedral and explore the gardens of Villa Rufolo. Those who wish to do so can also visit Villa Cimbrone, home to the famous “Terrace of Infinity” viewpoint. The views from there are truly spectacular!
From Ravello, we’ll finally return to the meeting point in Salerno, where we’ll wrap up this 8-hour day trip.
