Bishop's Slope Day Trip
At 9:30 am, we'll leave from the centre of Salta and drive along the National Route 68, which crosses one of the most beautiful natural areas in northern Argentina, the Lerma Valley.
For the first part of the excursion, we'll visit Quebrada de Los Laureles and admire the beautiful landscapes around the Yungas forests. Here you'll also see how the terrain is gradually changing towards mountain vegetation.
The tour will continue to the famous Bishop's Slope. This winding road that crosses a steep and rugged mountain landscape, will be worth your while because you'll enjoy the excellent panoramic views of the Enchanted Valley.
In the highest part of Bishop's Slope, we'll also see views of the famous Los Cardones National Park. Its characteristic cacti make this protected natural area in northern Argentina incredible.
We'll return to Salta and arrive in the city at 1:30 pm.
