Tour Options
During the booking process, you can choose between two options depending on availability. Both include hotel pickup and drop-off and an English-speaking guide. Please read the details for each tour below:
Flamengo & Stella Maris Beaches (4 Hours)
We'll cross the urban area of Salvador de Bahía on board a vehicle, admiring the landscapes of the Atlantic.
We'll reach the coast and stay for 1.5 hours on the beach of Praia do Flamengo. You'll find well-equipped barracks, beach bars and naturally shaded spaces. The sea, which changes depending on the tide, will offer calm areas for swimming and other areas perfect for surfers and kitesurfers. Here, we'll see the dunes filled with native vegetation, coconut trees and reefs nearby that form natural pools during low tide.
Afterward, we'll continue toward Praia Stella Maris, a livelier beach with a contagious young energy. Its vast stretch of sand invites you to stroll with the low tide that creates crystal-clear pools perfect for relaxation. The stronger waves make this beach a classic spot to surf, and the redeveloped waterfront features cafés, hotels, and services that complete the experience.
Finally, after 1.5 hours at this last beach, we'll return to your hotel and say our goodbyes after a total of 4 hours.
Salvador de Bahía Tour + Flamengo & Stella Maris Beaches (7 Hours)
We'll first make our way towards Santo Antônio to admire the Barra lighthouse. This tower, which is 22 metres (72 feet) tall, is one of the main icons in Salvador, emitting powerful red and white lights that can be seen from up to a distance of 70 kilometres (43 miles).
We'll continue the tour at the Corredor da Vitória, one of the most charming streets in the city. After admiring the outside of the mansions, we'll pass by the Dois de Julho Monument. Located at Largo do Campo Grande, this imposing monolith pays tribute to the participation of the native Brazilians in the country's independence.
Our next stop will be at Pelourinho, an area full of history located in the old town of the city. In this district, we'll check out the Rio Branco Palace, the Basilica-Cathedral and the São Francisco Church. We'll stop off at Largo do Pelourinho, where Michael Jackson filmed a famous video clip. Afterwards, we'll take the Lacerda Elevator to descend to the Modelo Market, the most popular one in the city.
After visiting the historic centre in Salvador, we'll head to the outskirts of the town, where the paradisical beaches of Praia do Flamengo and Praia Stella Maris are located. You'll have 3 hours of free time to discover the sandy beaches, take a dip, sunbathe and grab a bite to eat.
From these beaches, we'll finally return to your hotel in Salvador, where we'll arrive after 7 hours together.
