Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your Salvador de Bahia hotel and set off to explore the city's historic center.
We'll start by admiring the facades of the most representative churches from the colonial period, including the Igreja São Francisco de Assis and the Basílica Nossa Senhora da Conceição da Praia, one of the oldest in the country.
We'll then wander through the historic center, with a particular focus on the Pelourinho. From there, we'll continue to the Lacerda Elevator, where you can enjoy a stunning view over the Bay of All Saints if you'd like. Nearby, the Mercado Modelo is the perfect spot to discover local crafts and soak up the authentic atmosphere of Salvador de Bahia.
During the tour, we'll make a stop for lunch (not included).
The sightseeing section of the tour will take us to the Fort of Santo Antônio, home to the majestic Barra Lighthouse, one of the city's most iconic landmarks. We'll also pass by the Dique do Tororó, adorned with sculptures of the orixás, and the exterior of the modern Arena Fonte Nova, Salvador's most important football stadium.
Before heading back to your hotel, we'll stop at the Fort of Nossa Senhora de Monte Serrat, with views over the Atlantic Ocean, and at the memorial and sanctuary of Santa Dulce dos Pobres, Brazil's first saint and a symbol of love and solidarity.
