Day Trip Details
The adventure begins at El último Trolley beach in San Juan. After an introduction, we'll board a vehicle and head towards the town of Vega Baja. Let's get started!
After an hour's drive, we'll arrive at a private estate at the entrance of the Charco Azul canyon and enter one of the most hidden natural paradises in Puerto Rico. When you least expect it, we'll find two impressive caves. We'll explore these caves, sculpted by the force of nature over thousands of years.
Inside the caves of Charco Azul, we'll find ancient Taino petroglyphs engraved on the walls. What do these figures mean? How old are they? We'll find out!
If we're lucky, we'll spot endemic wildlife, such as bats and lizards, that have made these caverns their home.
After the exploration, you can cool off in the natural pools of this natural enclave. For the more daring, you can try your hands at jumping from the cliffs of the canyon, an exciting experience for those seeking a dose of adrenaline. What's more, we'll enjoy snacks and water.
Following an incredible experience, we'll return to the meeting point in San Juan, after 5 hours of hiking.
