Experience one of the most magical landscapes of Chile on this day trip to the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, a natural wonder where you can swim without sinking - a phenomenon found in very few parts of the world!
Baltinache Lagoons Day Trip
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and head towards the Cordillera de la Sal, a mountain range located a few kilometers south of San Pedro de Atacama.
At the foot of these mountains are the Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache, or 'Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache', a natural wonder composed of seven saltwater lagoons. In the background, the rugged silhouette of the Callo Salino creates an otherworldly scene and one of the most beautiful landscapes in this part of Chile.
Upon arrival, we'll leave you free time to admire the stunning landscape and take a refreshing dip. Did you know that the high salinity of these pools makes it impossible to sink? It's a phenomenon that occurs in just a few parts of the world, the most popular of which being the Dead Sea.
Afterward, we'll take you to witness a romantic sunset from the Likan-Antay viewpoint. You'll be left speechless! Please keep in mind that, due to the longer days, it will not be possible to see this sunset during the southern hemisphere summer.
Finally, we'll take you back to the central square of San Pedro de Atacama, where we'll arrive 5 hours after pickup.

The day trip includes pickup from hotels located within a radius of 3.10 miles (5 kilometers) from the center of San Pedro de Atacama. If your hotel is outside this area, we'll pick you up at unit 2, 429B Tocopilla Street.
