The BIBO PARK Ibiza Biotechnological Botanical is one of the most outstanding conservation parks in the world! On this guided tour, we'll discover all the unique plant species it houses, the latest biotechnological advances for the care of the natural environment, and its plant piano!
BIBO Park
The BIBO PARK Ibiza Biotechnological Botanical houses over 35000 plants of 160 different species. We'll start our guided tour in front of the photobioreactor that allows the growth of microalgae. It's a sophisticated device with 656 ft (200 m) of transparent tubes that replaces a forest of more than 100 trees, where 3 could fit.
The tour will continue by observing some endemic and some already extinct species. Yes, there are still some specimens in the garden that don't grow anywhere else! We'll also view a replica of a typical Mediterranean salt cellar built, among other materials, with stakes more than 100 years old.
The next stop will be the BIBO PARK's atmospheric water generators, which create high-quality water from the atmosphere's humidity. We'll continue the tour next to the beehives and the BIBO PARK lake, passing through the Plato's Corner area. In every magical corner, nature lives freely, with frogs, medicinal plants, waterfalls... You'll love it!
Don't miss the famous plant piano, which is the world's first instrument that produces light and sound by playing living plants. Impressive, isn't it?
Opening Times
The BIBO PARK is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
