With this option, we'll travel for 4 hours from your São Luís hotel to Barreirinhas. When we arrive, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to rest up and recharge for what's coming next.
We'll meet up again and head out on a boat ride along the Preguiças River. During the trip, we'll explore the beauty of this waterway, one of the main routes into the Lençóis Maranhenses. As we go, we'll pass through Vassouras, a dune area where you'll spot freshwater lagoons.
We'll keep sailing until we reach Mandacaru. This fishing village is one of the most famous in the Lençóis Maranhenses and is packed with traditions we'll tell you all about on board. Later, we'll arrive at Caburé, where we'll anchor at this narrow sandy peninsula where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean. You'll have 1 hour of free time to relax and enjoy any food you've brought along.
Finally, we'll hop back on the boat and sail back to Barreirinhas. Once there, we'll get back on the minibus and head to your hotel or the airport, where we'll wrap up the trip around 9 pm.
After picking you up at your hotel, we'll take a 4-hour drive to Barreirinhas. When we get to the city center, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to stroll around and grab a bite at one of the local restaurants.
