On this tour, we'll visit a vineyard in Saumur, where we'll discover the secrets of the wines of the Loire Valley and have a wine tasting at the end of the tour!
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Av. du Général de Gaulle, number 80, to start this vineyard tour in Saumur – perfect for learning all about the exciting world of winemaking!
We'll head to the historic vineyards of Vignoble de Souzay-Champigny, where we'll tell you many curiosities about the Loire Valley wines. We'll see how grapes are grown in this French region while we take a nice walk through the vineyards.
You'll learn why the climatic conditions are fundamental for growing the Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon, Melon, or Pinot Noir grapes that are used in the prized wines of Saumur. Then, to complete our tour of the vineyards, we'll enter a tasting room to taste 5 varieties of wines: white, rosé, red, sweet, and sparkling. Delicious!
After 3 hours of immersion in the world of winemaking, we'll end our vineyard tour in Saumur back at the starting point.
