Tour Options
During the booking process, you can select from the following two tour options. Below, you'll find a brief description of each tour:
1.5-Hour Ride
At the time of your choice, you'll head to Riva Forte Gallo. There, you'll be welcomed aboard the boat and set sail to start exploring the island of Ortigia, the historical center of Syracuse.
During the boat ride, you'll see one of the most beautiful jewels of the Sicilian coast, admiring both its historical and natural monuments.
We'll cruise around the island of Ortigia, admiring the Venetian palace, Umbertino Bridge, the Spanish walls and the ancient prison of the Bourbons.
You'll also get to see the gothic details on the exterior of Maniace Castle, a fortress built by order of Emperor Frederick II in the 13th century.
Afterward, we'll make our way to the sea caves in the north of Syracuse. As we approach the caves, you'll be amazed by the stalactites and stalagmites that form inside. You won't be able to stop taking pictures!
After 1.5 hours of sailing, we'll return to the starting point, ending the tour.
The available times for this tour are 9 am, 10am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6 pm.
2-Hour Ride + Snorkeling
In this option, we'll spend more time in the sea caves of Syracuse. We will be able to explore the caves of Cappuccini, Innamorati (Lovers' Cave), Corallo (Coral Cave) and Grande Grotta, enjoying a snorkeling activity of 30 minutes.
Back on board, we'll enjoy an aperitif with seasonal fruit and prosecco.
