Our first stop will be at Marae Arahurahu, an ancient archaeological site where you can learn about Tahiti's rich history and culture. We'll then visit the Grotte de Mara'a, a cave known for its mystery and legends. Its surroundings are spectacular and the cave's waters are so transparent that you'll feel like you're floating on air.
We'll continue towards Tahaaru Beach, famous for its black sand and surf-friendly waves. Here, you'll be able to enjoy the island's atmosphere as you admire the contrast between the dark sand and the blue sea. Our next destination will be the Vaipahi Water Gardens, an oasis of tranquillity where you'll be surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and crystal-clear water fountains that flow across the garden. It's the perfect spot to relax and connect with nature!
For lunch, if you wish, we can head to the restaurant in the Paul Gauguin Museum, where you'll have the chance to taste some of the delicious local cuisine and even visit the museum dedicated to this famous painter who drew inspiration from his time in Tahiti.
Then, we'll make our way to the Taravao viewpoint to enjoy some of the best views on the island. Our next stops will be at the Faone and Fa'aruma'i waterfalls. In both places, you'll get to admire the majestic water falling amongst lush vegetation, a natural scene that will leave you breathless.
We'll then visit the Anahoho Blower’s Hole, where the sea creates a water jet as it crashes against the coastline. Our tour will come to an end at Venus Point, a place filled with history, where Captain Cook stepped foot on Tahiti in the 18th century. Here, you can learn more about the role this island played in the history of European exploration of the Pacific.
