Taipei City Tour
We'll meet at the indicated time in front of the Zhongxiao Xinsheng metro station to hop on the minibus that will take us on a tour of Taipei. Let's go!
The first stop will be the Taipei Grand Hotel, a spectacular red building whose facade captivates tourists and makes for the perfect photo backdrop. Then, we'll head to the National Palace Museum, where you'll be able to see thousands of samples of China's artistic heritage.
Afterward, we'll visit Taipei's oldest neighborhood, Dadaocheng. There, we'll walk along its most iconic street: Dihua, a street that crosses from north to south this historic area of the city, as we unveil all the history it holds!
Next up, we'll reach the popular Cheng'en Gate, one of the best-preserved historical buildings in the city. It was also declared a National Monument! We'll this architectural marvel of the ancient walls of Taipei.
Our next stop? The Ximending business district. Here, you will have free time on your own to enjoy a delicious lunch with an authentic dish. Refreshed, we will visit Longshan Temple, located in the Wunhua district. Stay tuned because its history is fascinating!
Following this, we'll arrive at the memorial to President Chiang. This impressive monument honoring the Chinese leader is flanked by two majestic classical-style buildings and decorated with an elegant arch at the main entrance. If we're lucky, we'll catch the changing of the guard ceremony held in front of this building, dedicated to the fallen warriors of the Chinese troops.
Moving on, we'll continue our tour through Taipei 101 Mall, an imposing 106-level skyscraper. Then, our last stop will be either in front of the Raohe night market as it starts to open, or back at the meeting point. The choice is yours!
