On this free tour of Teresina, we'll discover all of the main attractions of the capital of Piauí and walk along the famous Frei Serafim Avenue.
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Central de Artesanía Mestre Dezinho, where we'll explore various shops offering traditional Piauí products - will you be able to resist bringing home a souvenir?
We'll continue on to Praça Pedro II, home to the Teatro 4 de Setembro, the state's premier concert venue. Just adjacent is Avenida Frei Serafim, the city's main thoroughfare, known for hosting cultural events, demonstrations, and political protests. We'll take a stroll along this avenue, visiting the exterior of the Palácio Karnak, the government headquarters, and the São Benedito Church.
After walking along Frei Serafim Avenue, we'll continue walking until we reach the outside of the Karnak Palace, seat of the Government, and the impressive church of São Benedito.
