Leave Torremolinos behind for a day and visit Granada, where you'll get the chance to see the magnificent Alhambra palace and its beautiful gardens.
Granada Day Trip
Departing from the centre of Torremolinos at the indicated time, we'll set off for Granada, ready to fall in love with the incredible Islamic heritage and architecture it houses.
When we arrive in Granada, we'll head straight to its most famous place. As soon as we head inside, we'll find the Palace of Charles V, who demolished part of the Alhambra complex to build this building with his name on it. Next, we'll make our way inside the Alhambra itself, which was the residence of the Nasrid Court for 2 centuries.
Afterwards, we'll stroll through the Generalife Gardens that surround the Alhambra and served as a leisure area for the royalty of the period.
Once the activity is over, we'll go to the centre of Granada and take a walking tour to see the main attractions of the old town. You'll then have 2 hours of free time to get something to eat and visit some of the city's other monuments such as the Royal Chapel or the Alcaicería.
At the end of the trip, we'll make our way back to Torremolinos and drop you off in the centre of the city. We'll arrive after a total of 10 hours.
Alhambra without the Nasrid Palaces
If you would like a more economical option, you can choose to visit the Alhambra without the Nasrid Palaces. This means you will not visit monuments such as the Court of the Lions or the Comares Palace.
Itinerary Changes
- On occasion, the itinerary may be reversed, meaning that we'll give you free time in the centre of Granada and then visit the Alhambra complex. The order of the visits will be adapted depending on the time at which the visit to the Alhambra is scheduled.
- Furthermore, during the day trip, there may be several pickup stops in other towns on the Costa del Sol.
