At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at Hotel Ruralsuite Apartamentos and, once everyone is ready, we’ll set off on this exciting buggy tour through the Montes del Cierzo. Ready? Let’s go!
The route begins in the Queiles River valley, surrounded by vineyards, almond trees, and cereal fields. From the very first moment, you’ll feel the thrill of driving along dirt tracks, with the sound of the engine and the Cierzo wind setting the pace of the adventure.
Little by little, we’ll climb several hills that will take us to some of the best viewpoints in the area. From there, you’ll be able to admire the impressive Mount Moncayo, the highest peak in the Iberian System, along with spectacular views over the Ebro Valley.
During the buggy route, we’ll make several stops, perfect for taking photos and learning more about the area’s geology. At these moments, we’ll also share interesting facts about the local flora and fauna that scent the air, such as thyme, rosemary, and esparto grass.
The route will then continue to Lor Lagoon, one of the most distinctive natural spaces in Navarre. This wetland is home to a wide variety of birdlife and offers a striking contrast with the arid surrounding landscape. We’ll make a final stop here to take in the scenery.
Finally, we’ll start the return journey to the starting point, where we’ll say goodbye after a total duration of 1.5 hours.
