Do you want to explore the popular Spider Crab Route from Ushuaia? If so, after picking you up from your hotel, we'll make our way along the Complementaria J motorway for a 45-minute journey on board an off-roading vehicle that will bring us to our first destination of the day: the Victoria Lagoon. There, we'll spend 30 minutes admiring the coast while we hear about the particularities of the region and enjoy a snack. What a good start to this adventure!
Afterwards, we'll head to Puerto Almanza, a small fishing village on the east coast of the Beagle Channel. While we talk about the origins and formation of this coastal enclave, we'll explore its narrow streets and go in search of the Nómades del Gran Chaparral restaurant, located on the banks of the channel, to delight our palate with the typical flavours of Almanza.
Once we get there, we'll taste the freshest ingredients from the catch of the day. Of course, spider crab, the star dish, will not be missing from the menu. After a delicious 3-course lunch, we'll head to the harbour to embark on a cruise through the Beagle Channel.
On board a speedboat, we'll sail for 1.5 hours until we reach Martillo Island. There, we'll admire and live in harmony with the hundreds of Magellanic penguins and gentoo penguins that inhabit this place—an unforgettable experience!
Finally, we'll sail back to land to continue our off-roading tour through the coastal lenga forest. Finally, after 7 hours, we'll say goodbye at your hotel in Ushuaia. See you next time!
