Weltmuseum Ticket
On this visit, you'll learn what ancient civilizations were like thanks to the over 250,000 pieces on display at the Weltmuseum in Vienna. With this ticket, you'll enjoy unique exhibits from Asia, Africa, Oceania, and America.
One of the most important collections is the one dedicated to the Aztec Empire, where through sculptures and utensils we'll learn all about the capital of Tenochtitlan. You can also see objects from Brazilian tribes that show the tribal connections with the House of Habsburg.
What's more, you will find some of the Polynesian discoveries of the navigator and cartographer James Cook. Did you know that you can also finf a headdress allegedly worn by Moctezuma Xocoyotzin in this exhibition? Many legends surround this colorful headdress of quetzal feathers set in gold.
Opening Times
The Weltmuseum opens on Tuesday, from 10 am to 9 pm and from Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. On Mondays, the Weltmuseum is closed.
