On this kayak tour in Nahuel Huapi National Park, we’ll paddle at the foot of the Patagonian Andes, exploring Nahuel Huapi, Espejo Grande, and Correntoso lakes. A picnic on a hidden beach is included!
Tour Details
We’ll meet at the Bahía Mansa pier or the Bahía Brava pier, on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Ready for the adventure?
Before entering the water, we’ll prepare the kayaks and safety equipment. We’ll give you an initial briefing where you’ll learn the paddling technique and we’ll talk about the planned route. Then we’ll begin the journey across glacial waters so clear they seem to merge with the sky.
We’ll paddle alongside the solemn silhouette of the Patagonian Andes, among forests of coihue and lenga trees that descend to the shore. For a few hours, we’ll explore quiet bays, small islands, and rock walls that reflect the geological history of Nahuel Huapi National Park.
It’ll then be time for a 45-minute break on a hidden beach, accessible only by water. There, we’ll relax in the surroundings while enjoying a picnic that includes fruit, sweet pastries, nuts, and hot and cold drinks. Well deserved!
After recharging our energy, we’ll return to the kayaks and head back to the starting point, where we’ll say our goodbyes after a total of 4 hours of adventure.
