After picking you up at your hotel in Xi'an at the appointed time, we'll head to the Shanxi Museum. You're sure to be amazed!
In this history museum, where we'll take a 2-hour guided tour, we'll delve into the milestones that have marked the culture of the region. The permanent exhibition houses numerous pieces related to the past of one of the areas with the greatest heritage in China.
Afterward, we'll go to a restaurant in downtown Xi'an for a typical Chinese lunch that includes various culinary specialties from the Shanxi region. Once we have regained our strength, we'll embark on a 30-minute journey north of Xi'an. There, the Han Yang Ling Mausoleum awaits us.
Once there, we'll enter this impressive funerary complex through a glass tunnel and discover its secrets on a 1.5-hour guided tour. The mausoleum, which houses the tombs of Emperor Jing Di and his consort, Empress Wang, members of the Han dynasty, was built between 153 and 126 BC on an area of more than 60,000 km² (23,166 mi²). You'll be amazed!
After visiting the mausoleum, we'll return to your hotel in Xi'an, where arrival is scheduled for 6 hours after pickup.
