Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at Plaza de San Felipe and, once everyone is ready, we’ll start this tapas tour of Zaragoza. Are you ready to discover the flavors of the Aragonese capital?
From our meeting point, we’ll talk about the surrounding Renaissance palaces and admire various places such as a museum, exhibition hall, church, and 18th-century houses to introduce the city’s history.
From there, we’ll walk to the Montal building, where we’ll learn about the history of the disappeared Torre Nueva, a former symbol of Zaragoza, while tasting an artichoke tapa in its cellars. Treat your taste buds!
Next, we’ll head to the El Tubo area, the heart of tapas in Zaragoza, famous for its lively atmosphere and bars. Here, at the iconic Corral de la Delfina restaurant, we’ll taste the famous “Guardia Civil” tapa. It’s based on toasted bread with extra virgin olive oil and other delicious ingredients.
We’ll finish the tour at a modern food market, built over the city’s old Roman gate, where we’ll try a small dish of rice with chicken. All of this with views of the Augusto de Primá Porta monument.
Finally, with full bellies and happy hearts, we’ll say goodbye at Plaza de España after 3 hours of exploring.
