We'll meet at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot in Zurich to leave the capital behind in exchange for Switzerland's sports capital, Interlaken. Adventure awaits!
As soon as we arrive in this picturesque Alpine setting between Thun and Brienz Lake, we'll head straight to the open-air sports center. Here, we'll gear up with all necessary clothing and equipment before heading to our starting point along the Lütschine River channel. Depending on the weather, our starting point may change, but we'll always raft along the Lütschine River.
Once we've launched, we're in for a 4-hour rafting adventure down the river that flows at the feet of Eiger Mountain. Throughout the route, we'll encounter different class III and IV rapids that will keep us on our toes. Don't worry, though; there are calm stretches where we can take a moment to soak up the immense natural landscape surrounding us.
Then, we'll bring our rafting route to an end within the turquoise waters of Brienz Lake. Plus, weather permitting, we can even take a well-deserved refreshing dip in the soothing waters. From here, we'll return to the sports center in Interlaken to return our gear.
From here, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at Interlaken! Tour the historic downtown area, but be sure to meet here in the evening, where we'll board a bus and head back to Zurich after an envigorating 12 hours.
