The tour is completely private, including a car, driver, and English-speaking guide from the Beijing Capital Airport pickup until drop off. Depending on how long the layover is, we'll carry out one of the following itineraries. Remember that, as this is a private tour, the itinerary can be modified according to the available time and your preferences.
During the booking process, you can choose between the following itineraries:
We'll have 5 hours to visit locations such as Tiananmen Square, one of the main points in Beijing. We'll also discover the Forbidden City, the largest imperial residence in China and one of the most mysterious locations in the capital.
With this tour, we'll have 6 hours free to explore the Great Wall of China (along the Mutianyu area). The option of visiting one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World is always a hit with travellers.
With this option, we'll have a total of 9 hours to visit the Great Wall of China, one of the most famous structures on the planet, and the Forbidden City, the largest palace complex in the world and a symbol of Chinese imperial history.
Bear in mind that the total round trip takes approximately 1.5 hours, and we'll have to be back at the Beijing Capital Airport 2.5 hours before the flight departure time. So, the time needed to carry out the tour will be 4 hours less than the layover. For example, a 5-hour tour is recommended for a 9-hour layover.
Please note that this tour is only available to and from the Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). If you arrive at Beijing-Daxing International Airport (PKK), the tour will not be possible due to transfer times.

Once on the wall, you’ll have free time to explore it at your own pace, so the guide will not accompany you during the climb or along the upper sections.
