When booking your sidecar motorcycle tour of Beijing, you can choose between a route of 2 or 4 hours. Both tour options include pickup at your hotel in Beijing at the designated time, return transfer, and an English-speaking guide who will drive the motorcycle.
Below you can see the details for each tour:
We'll begin this tour of Beijing by riding on our sidecar motorcycle past the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, two iconic buildings that will transport us back to ancient Beijing.
Next, we'll drive through some famous hutongs, the alleyways of Beijing's old town. The route will continue past the northern gate of the Forbidden City (Gate of Divine Prowess), along with a pit and a watchtower.
After exploring the surroundings of the ancient city of the Chinese emperors, we'll head to the avant-garde CCTV building to admire the modern headquarters of this Chinese television company from the outside.
Finally, we'll visit the Beijing Ming City Wall Ruins Park. After our 2-hour journey, we'll return to your hotel.
If you choose this option, we'll follow the same itinerary as the 2-hour tour, but you'll get to enjoy an extended route around the Bell Tower and Drum Tower.
We'll continue this sidecar motorcycle tour of Beijing in the vicinities of Lake Houhai. From here, we'll head to the Tianning Temple, which is more than 900 years old.
Afterward, our route will continue past the Niujie Mosque and the Budist Temple of Fayuan Si. Last but not least, we'll pass by Yondingmen, the former front gate of Beijing's old city wall. We'll return to your hotel after this 4-hour tour.
The vehicles will be driven by the guide at all times. Each motorcycle has a maximum capacity of 2 passangers: one seated behind the guide and the other in the sidecar. Please note that the prices listed are per person, not per motorcycle.
