At the appointed time, we'll meet at Rua Duque de Caxias in Bento Gonçalves to enter the Vale dos Vinhedos, where we'll go on a tour that will delight wine lovers.
Full of beautiful landscapes, this valley comprises three towns: Bento Gonçalves, Monte Belo do Sul and Garibaldi. It also has an important historical, cultural and gastronomic legacy inherited from the Italian settlers who arrived in the Serras Gaúchas at the end of the 19th century.
Since then, the oenological tradition of the valley has been passed on from generation to generation and has developed into a modern industry using new technologies and infrastructures. This makes the Vale dos Vinhedos a paradise for wine enthusiasts.
We'll visit the Cave do Sol and Torcello wine estates, strolling through their extensive vineyards and learning about their production methods. We'll also have a tasting of their products.
We'll then visit the Devorata Trufas Artesanais shop, which has more than 30 years of experience in the production of this handmade sweet. We'll also stop at Empório La Vigna, a market where you'll find regional products.
After four hours of activity, we'll leave you at the starting point.
