At the designated time, we'll meet at Pietro Cassina Winery to begin a visit to its facilities. We'll also get to taste some of its best wines.
This local business, in the heart of Alto Piedmont, stretches across approximately 7 hectares (17 acres) of vineyards. The surrounding forests also create the perfect microclimate for growing the Nebbiolo grape. Find out all about it on this tour!
Once we've all arrived, we'll go on a tour inside the winery to get to know the elaboration process of wine. We'll also see the space where it's aged before being bottled and labelled.
Once our visit has come to an end, we'll pass through a tunnel, reaching a tasting room, featuring a beautiful dome decorated with stars. Here, we'll have the chance to try 4 local wines, including a Lessona. We'll pair this with an appetiser made up of regional products like cheese and cured meats.
1.5 hours later, we'll say our goodbyes and this activity will come to an end at the entrance to the Pietro Cassina Winery. Until next time!
