In the heart of the Barracas neighbourhood, you'll find one of the greatest temples of tango in Buenos Aires: Señor Tango. Here, within the walls of this theatre, you can feel the passion and rhythm of this cultural movement. Its facilities are designed to transport everyone who visits to the golden age of tango.
You'll find yourself surrounded by architecture which evokes the historic Buenos Aires dance halls in all its details. Señor Tango boasts an elegant decoration, where golden tones, drapes, armchairs, and soft lighting create a sophisticated atmosphere. From the first chord of the bandoneón, you'll feel how the tango show springs to life amongst a light show pointed directly to the stage. Throughout the show, you'll watch 9 dance couples shine with skill and elegance, performing choreographies which demonstrate the intense emotion associated with this genre of music.
The show's magic will be enhanced by the presence of Fernando Soler, singer and owner of Señor Tango, as well as one of the greatest contemporary tango performers. The power of his singing and the emotion conveyed in every note will generate an overwhelming sense of passion and melancholy.
As the night progresses, the show will end with a performance of the classic song Don't Cry For Me Argentina, an anthem filled with patriotism. During this culminating moment, all the artists will gather on the stage to pay tribute to national identity.
