Merely a 40-minute drive from Bordeaux, the heart of New Aquitaine, the majestic Cadillac Castle stands as one of the most prominent ducal fortresses within the Gironde region.
With your ticket to Château de Cadillac, you'll embark on a journey through this splendid residence, which boasts a history dating back to the late 16th century. Its construction began during the reign of Henry IV and continued under the rule of Louis XIII.
The castle is a harmonious blend of royal opulence and military character. As you explore, you'll encounter grand fireplaces adorned with intricate decorations, complementing the tapestries and vibrant ceilings.

On December 24 and 31, the closing time is at 4:30 pm. As well as that, the castle will be closed on January 1, Easter Monday, May 1 and December 25.
