Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the meeting point of your choice in Calgary to kick off our private tour of this dynamic Canadian city.
We'll kick things off with a stroll down Stephen Avenue, one of Calgary's most beloved pedestrian streets. Framed by beautiful historic buildings and buzzing with cafés and shops, it's the perfect place to soak up the city's character. The street was named after George Stephen, the first president of the Canadian Pacific Railway, and was designated a National Historic Site in 2002.
Next, we'll make our way past the Calgary Arts Commons, where we'll get a feel for the city's creative spirit through its impressive cultural venues. From there, we'll head to the Municipal Building and Central Library, two striking examples of contemporary architecture. The library in particular is a real showstopper, and widely recognised as one of the most beautiful in North America.
Afterwards, we'll make our way into the heart of East Village, a vibrant riverside district that's been transformed into one of Calgary's coolest neighbourhoods. Don't forget to snap some photos!
We'll stop outside the National Music Centre, a museum, venue for performances, and recording studio with an interesting background. Here, we'll admire the modern design of Studio Bell, a standout structure celebrating Canada's rich musical heritage.
Of course, no tour of Calgary is complete without marvelling at The Bow. Standing at 236 m tall (774 ft), it's the second-tallest office tower in Calgary. You'll be impressed by its grandeur! We'll then enjoy a leisurely wander along the Bow River Pathway, a peaceful green space perfect for scenic photos and a breath of fresh air.
To wrap up the tour, we'll explore the sights and sounds of Chinatown, where Calgary's Chinese community adds colour, culture, and delicious aromas to the city centre.
Finally, after a total of 2 or 3 hours, we'll end the tour.
