Our night tour of Chengdu begins in front of the Shangri-La Hotel, where we'll meet at the appointed time. From there, we'll head to the Anshun Bridge, whose arched structure with traditional roofs is reflected in the waters of the Jinjiang River like an illuminated moving painting.
Upon arrival, as we take in the urban scenery, we'll tell you about the reconstructions the bridge has undergone over the years. Afterward, we'll leap into the future with the Tianfu Twin Towers, two identical skyscrapers that light up, creating a synchronized LED light show. These tall buildings are not only the financial center of Chengdu, but also function as a giant screen displaying digital art at night.
We'll continue to the futuristic SKP fountains or bamboo fountains, where water comes to life as it merges with a choreography of lights and music. Cameras ready in night mode? Every minute will be a new show of choreography that will leave you speechless!
Next up, we'll go in search of the Hi-Tech district. Here, we'll see the Chengdu Global Center, the largest building in the world, whose silhouette will remind us of a ship from another planet. It will stand as a 1.5 million square meter (16,145,865 square feet) reminder that in Chengdu, dreaming big is what it's all about.
