At the designated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point you selected and hop on board a vehicle to leave behind Cuneo. Are you ready to dive into the Occitan Valleys, where the snow, history, and tranquility come together? Let's go!
After a road trip of 45 minutes to 1 hour, we'll reach the starting point of our route and gear up with our snowshoes to explore the heart of the Occitan Valleys.
As you walk, you'll marvel at nature's beauty in winter, with its forest covered in a white blanket of snow, frozen rivers, and majestic summits contrasting with the blue sky. With each step, the snow will crunch under our feet as we breathe in the mountain's pure air.
During the route, you'll enjoy absolute peace, only interrupted by the sounds of nature and the stories we share with you. We'll tell you about the Occitan culture and traditions, the ancient legends that have brought life to these valleys, and the connection between humans and the mountains throughout the centuries.
Halfway along the way, we'll stop at a strategic spot, where you can rest and eat the food you brought surrounded by a dreamy landscape.
After 3 hours of hiking with snowshoes, we'll return to the initial starting point of our route. Then, we'll start our journey back to Cuneo, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 5 to 7 hours.
