See the magnificent Jakobshorn mountain and other peaks of the Swiss Alps from a unique perspective, with this fantastic paragliding flight from Davos.
Paragliding in the Swiss Alps
We will meet up at the scheduled time on the Brämabüelstrasse road, next to Davos-Platz station. There we will take a cable car all the way to the top of the magnificent Jakobshorn mountain, which is 8500 feet above sea level.
At the summit, we will enjoy spectacular panoramic views and we will enjoy a brief training on the activity that we will undertake next. After putting on the harnesses attached to the parachute, the helmets, and the rest of the equipment, we will begin an exciting paragliding flight over the Swiss Alps.
A specialized instructor will accompany us throughout the experience, which will last between 15 and 35 minutes depending on the wind conditions. During this time, we will fly over the magnificent Jakobshorn mountain. This peak is one of the main massifs in the canton of Graubünden, located in the eastern part of Switzerland bordering Liechtenstein, Austria, and Italy.
During the flight, we will also see other mountains in the Swiss Alps located in the surrounding area. On the slopes of these massifs, we will also see beautiful alpine landscapes, which turn green in spring and summer and white in autumn and winter.
We will conclude the activity by parachute landing in the Bolgen field. From there we will return on foot to the original meeting point, located just a few feet away.
