Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Almeria with this exciting kayak and snorkel tour in Cabo de Gata from La Fabriquilla. You'll see Spain's breathtaking southern coast from a unique perspective as you kayak.
After meeting at La Fabriquilla Beach in Almeria, we'll set off on our fantastic kayak tour around the beautiful coast of Cabo de Gata.
We'll give you some basic guidelines on how to use the kayaks and, once you're ready, you'll then head into the water to row towards the east. As you kayak, you'll have unique views of the scenery in this area.
During the 2-hour tour, you'll listen to the guide as they tell you some fun facts about the history, fauna and geology of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. We'll then jump into the water so we can go snorkelling. While snorkelling here, we'll see large shoals of fish, rays and, with a bit of luck, sea turtles.
After stopping to snorkel, we'll continue kayaking until we get to Las Sirenas reef. When we get there, we'll see excellent views of Cabo de Gata and its lighthouse.
It'll then be time to make our way back to the meeting point, where we'll say our goodbyes and finish the tour.
During the kayak tour, we'll do a photo report. At the end of the tour, you'll be given a link that you can use to download the photos free of charge 2 weeks later.
The maximum weight permitted per kayak is 260 kg (573 pounds), with a maximum of 4 people per kayak.
If conditions are favorable, this activity will begin at La Fabriquilla Beach. However, if the weather is adverse, we'll start the tour in another nearby place, such as Cuervo cove or Agua Amarga Beach. In these exceptional cases, we will let you know the day before.
